I have to say that this hourglass timer set has exceeded my expectations. It’s very attractive and really a fine piece. The metal is classy looking and has an aged bronze color. The hourglass is delicate and fits perfectly within the frame of the metal. The hourglass locks into position when turned and is a sturdy fit. Also on the metal frame is a cylinder cup for storing writing utensils. It’s not overly chunky which I think goes well with the antique feel it puts off. This is a very attractive piece and one that I have enjoyed displaying in my house.
