This treasure chest box is exactly what I was looking for. Overall it seems sturdy. The superb exterior finish is glossy, so it really shines in light. Inside you find felt-covered compartments that are well organized. The removable top tray is solid. When removing it, take it slow, as it is easily unbalanced when you fill it with whatever trinkets you put in it. The tray fits snuggly back in the chest, with no gaps. My only complaint is the lock. I recommend finding a better lock if you can (the chest is more of a prop item than a secure safe, so take that with a grain of salt); I plan to get a combination lock to replace it so I don’t have to keep up with the keys.
Overall, though, this is exactly what I was looking for. Very happy with my purchase.
