I purchased these for my Paris Themed kitchen and they are the cutest! I don't use them for salt and pepper, so I won't comment on their effectiveness in that regard, However, I will state that they are small so I can't imagine that they'll hold much salt or pepper. For me though, they are a beautiful addition to my theme; product worked for I needed them for!

Bought these as a gift for someone who is obsessed with Paris and cooking. Added an Eifell Tower apron and she was in Heaven.
